Radiology Technologist - Bainbridge Island Clinic

Department: VM Bainbridge Island - Gen Radiology


Hours: 7am to 7pm, per diem/variable as needed


This Radiology Technologist position provides patients with highly technical radiological procedures including the application of prescribed ionizing radiation and administering contrast agents/medications for radiological diagnosis. This position may also, under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging or Clinic Manager, coordinate the day-to-day operations of Diagnostic Imaging to ensure efficiency, quality care and service to patients.


Qualifications:




  • Washington State License for Radiologic Technologist.


  • Certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).


  • Minimum one year experience in Diagnostic Radiology (or two years at VMMC or other Bellevue Community College Radiologic Technologist program approved cite as a student tech).


  • 24 hours of continuing medical education every two years.


  • CPR license to be renewed every two years.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology.


  • Strong organizational skills.


  • Willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field.


  • Ability to manage stressful situations appropriately.


  • Ability to attend to multiple tasks and work independently.


  • Ability to be versatile, flexible and be able to lift 50 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
